Connie Ann Fowler/Tompkins

Connie Ann Fowler/Tompkins, 65, of Minnetonka, MN died Dec. 7, 2006 at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Jan 27 2007 in Olivia at the Community Center (818 E Lincoln Ave. Olivia, MN) from 1 - 4 pm to celebrate Connieās life. A time to share will be at 2 p.m. Bring stories, pictures or other memories to share.

Connie was born Aug. 25, 1941 to Alfred and Agnes [Keltgen] Hefti in Hector, MN. She moved with the family to Olivia in 1944 where she attended the Aloysianum and Olivia High School, graduating in 1959.
Connie married Gene H. Fowler on June 3, 1961. In 1981 she married Larry D. Tompkins. She drove bus for the Metro Transit for twenty some years. Her interest were many, gardening, collecting, sewing, crafting, reading, studying, people and enjoying her family and grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband Larry, children: Scott [and Theresa] Fowler of Salem, OR, Dan [and Jill] Fowler of Vacaville, CA, Tricia [and Blaine] Dehmlow of Brentwood, CA, and T.Jay [and Jennifer] of Berkeley, CA. six grandchildren; Tatum and Jillian Fowler, Jordan Fowler, Samantha and Halle Dehmlow and Olivia Fowler two brothers: Tom [and Jeanne] Hefti of Forest City, CA and Pat [and Lisa] Hefti of Pine River, MN, three sisters: Lavonne Evans of Centennial, CO, Punky [and Dean] Julson of Olivia, MN and Mary [and Dale ] Brakemeier of Minnetonka, MN
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Gene Fowler, niece Linda Julson and brother-in-law Jack Evans.

I'm sorry to hear about Connie. I worked with her at the bus company for many years. I just saw her last summer and she seemed fine -- she was always very health conscious. I was so surprised to hear of her passing. If you could, please let me know what happened. Also, please extend my condolences to your family.
