Just for the record.
I think I may be out of my Joy Division phase. It lasted for two years, and I'm pretty sure I've heard almost everything that has been released in some reasonably available format. I think I know all nuances of all the 43 versions of She's Lost Control, and can easily say that my favorite song is Dead Souls followed quickly by Atmosphere (I know, I know).
Sigh.
I'm not sure yet, but after hearing a bootleg of a Fugazi concert at Fort Baker, Washington D.C., I may be entering a Fugazi phase. The particular track from the August 29, 1997 concert that may have triggered this new phase is Reclamation which is a monster version of the song, and then followed up with the slitherly, melodic Floating Boy.
Now, for the last few years I have resisted the purchase of the Fugazi Live Series recordings that have been self released by the band. Now. I am seriously tempted. Seriously.
