Celebration Style, All-Grain



This is my most recent brew. It's BITTER & Super Hoppy!

Celebration-style Ale

Recipe type: All Grain
Batch Size: 10

Ingredients:

  • 26 lbs Schrier 2 Row Pale
  • 2 lb 120L Crystal
  • 1 lb 60L Crystal
  • 2 oz chinook 60 min
  • 2 oz centennial 45 min
  • 2 oz centennial 30 min
  • 2 oz centennial 15 min
  • 2 oz cascade while cooling
  • 2 oz cascade dry
  • 2 oz centennial dry
  • Wyeast 1056

Mash at 152F 90 minutes

OK,
It was indeed bitter, but it wasn't so BITTER as to be undrinkable (I've made that undrinkable beer before and threw it away). I happily drank 4 L or so of this beer. Although I will say that it took the right mood and was better with a tasty snack to break from the alpha-acidity.
