Low -- Songs for a Dead Pilot
More of an e.p. in light of their, usually, hour long releases. It's six songs, 35 or so minutes. The songs range from a string-backed standard Low song, which is quite nice, to a more minimal Kranky-like compositions. The first cut, Will the Night, is rather short with a vocals-as-instrument treatment, very droney. Lot's of guitar noise. Quiet guitar noise, mind you. I am pretty happy with this as opposed to the one-off with the Dirty Three from the tour earlier this year.
