Cedar Creek Salmon Pate
Cedar Creek Smokehouse is a local (Richmond) provider of assorted isotopes of smoked fish. They have an amazing selection or products that range from standard slabs of smoked salmon, to smoked salmon sausages, salmon cakes (think crab cakes), and my personal favorite - smoke salmon pate.
The smoked salmon pate is absolutely wonderful - it's full of smoky salmon goodness, but has a big hit of citrus that cuts the richness. Other ingredients appear to include cream cheese and red onions. It's great on crackers, celery, endive, etc.
Olivia loves it, and insists on only eating the pate, using the cracker as eating tool - and if Olivia approves of it - it must be good.
For those of you outside the bay area - it looks like Cedar Creek will ship their goods anywhere.
