Kojo Griffin

I've been enamored with Kojo Griffin since seeing one of his works in Harpers. Kojo Griffin paintings feature human-animal hybrids who live in minimalist planes. Layers of line, shape and form are placed in front and behind each figure. The figures look lonely, sad and unsettled. Each figure has amazing detail which contrasts to the sketch-like backgrounds and environments.

See some of his work here and here.
